The Scottish Climbing Archive currently has the following services available or in the pipeline. You can use them for however you like, within any guidelines provided by ourselves.
We now have an Outdoor Shops database. It only really has UK entries in it (mostly Scottish) but you can add shops for any country you like...
Mike set up a Winter Climbing Conditions Server many years ago which seemed to work pretty well. I've fixed this and the service now allows the following:
Our Outdoor/Climbing Events database is more-or-less working. Any events added to the database will show up on the homepage one month in advance and will remain visible for two months in total.
If you would like to an announce an event which is climbing related, please feel free to use our facility here. Simply click on the link below and complete the form.
We will accept information about the following types of event:
All entries will be vetted, if we consider them to be inappropriate, they will be removed. However, if you think it's useful for other climbers to know, feel free to post it.
You can contact us by email, mail or phone, or you can use out email gateway to send a message to a friend.
The routes database complete yet but I intend to make it so very soon. In the meantime, you can Add AEREAS, CRAGS/MOUNTAIN, ROUTES... and let us know what you think.
